A typical job runs through five or six tools: one to cull, one to edit, one for the gallery, one for the contract, one for the invoice. None of them share anything, so you copy names, dates and files from one to the next. That's time away from shooting, plus a subscription for each tool.
Orveil started with one question: what if all of that lived in one place?
Galleries carry your name, and your logo on Pro and Studio. Contracts go out under your studio, and Stripe pays you directly. Pro can hide the Powered by Orveil credit, and Studio removes Orveil branding completely.
Each screen does one job, so there isn't much to learn. The free plan has no time limit, and Pro is $20 a month.
Each gallery has its own private link, and Pro adds a password. Attach a contract and clients can look at the photos, but downloads stay locked until it is signed and the invoice is paid.
Upload the shoot, touch up the photos and design the gallery. Then send it with the contract and invoice attached, and the client signs, pays and downloads from one link.
Orveil is in beta. We ship changes most weeks, based on what the photographers and studios using it ask for. The aim is to give independent shooters the kind of setup larger studios pay a lot more for.
